Lincolnshire Duck Decoy showing end and front views. Wild duck decoyed into mouth of net covering curving ditch or 'pipe'. Dog trained to drive birds to narrow end where the birds were caught and killed. Common practice on the Cambridgeshire Fens and Norfolk Broads. Most birds were sent to the London market. Hand-coloured lithograph c1845.
