Unveiling of Thomas Davis Memorial at College Green, Dublin. The design by Irish sculptor Edward Delaney took the form of a statue fronted by a futuristic fountain on a cobblestone plinth. Picture shows sculptor-designer Edward Delaney (left) describing the memorial fountain to Mr. Kevin Boland T.D., Minister for Social Welfare and Alderman Timmons T.D., P.C. Lord Mayor of Dublin, after the ceremony.
