Cardinal John Cody of Chicago with American pilgrims in Drogheda. Cardinal Cody led 350 pilgrims to the shrine of Blessed Oliver Plunkett in Drogheda. There in the Cathedral he and His Eminence Cardinal William Conway Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland consecrated Mass. After mass the Cardinals and pilgrims went to the Medical Missionaries of Mary Hospital for lunch. Picture shows (l-r): His Eminence Cardinal John Cody; Mother Mary Martin, Mother General of the Medical Missionaries of Mary; His Eminence Cardinal William Conway and an unnamed army colonel.
