Sculptural detail from the entrance/courtyard to the Capitolini museums, in Rome, Italy. The statue is a bronze of Marcus Aurelius on a horse. The museums themselves are contained within 3 palazzi as per designs by Michelangelo Buonarroti in 1536, they were then built over a 400 year period.
