This tablet records observations of the planet Venus, probably made in the reign of Ammisaduqa, King of Babylon, roughly 1000 years before Ashurbanipal. Modern attempts have been made to use these records to calculate the exact dates of Ammisaduqa's reign however uncertainly persists because the records are inconsistent.
