Both matches were well fought and close encounters...In the minor final Offaly ran out winners against Cork with a score of 3.12 (21) to 3.9 (18)...Photograph shows Offaly captain Michael Hogan, with cup aloft,making the customary after match speech,in which he praised a gallant Cork team for their efforts in what was a memorable match.
