State Opening Of The National Concert Hall. (N92)..1981..09.09.1981..9th September 1981..The President ,Dr Patrick Hillery, officially opened the new National Concert Hall,Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin. The state opening was followed by the premier concert performed by the Radio Telefís Eireann Symphony Orchestra with a large cast of soloists, choirs and the RTESO leader Audrey Park and conducted by RTE's Principal conductor Colman Pearce...President and Mrs Hillery are pictured on their arrival at the National Concert hall for the State Opening. Mr Fred O'Donovan is seen escorting them into the hall.
