Dr Tiede Herrema Leaves Dublin. (J87)..1975..08.11.1975..11.08.1975..8th November 1975..After his ordeal at the hands of a kidnap gang led by Eddie Gallagher,Dr Tiede Herrema held a press conference prior to his departure to his home in Holland. Mr herrema accompanied by his wife, Elisabeth,thanked the Irish people for their prayers and well wishes whilst he was held captive. Dr and Mrs Herrema were made honorary Irish Citizens and he was made Freeman Of Limerick in recognition of his ordeal..Pictured at the press conference at Dublin Airport, Dr Tiede Herrema and his wife ,Elisabeth, relate the events that took place at Monasterevin, Co Kildare.
