The people of Ireland descended on Dublin to throng the streets as they congratulated Stephen on his momentous achievement...Proudly waving his winner's Yellow Jersey, Stephen Roche is paraded through the streets of Dublin. Lydia Roche and the Lord Mayor of Dublin ,Carmencita Hederman are included in the photograph. Gardai have their work cut out as they try to clear a safe path for the bus.
