Monumental amphora (storage jar) decorated with a network of meander and other patterns, and three friezes of human and animal figures. Geometric, made in Athens 735-720 BC; attributed to the Anavysos Painter. The main figure scene encircling the wildest part of the vase shows men and horse-drawn chariots advancing into battle.
