Army Apprentice Graduation Ceremony..1986..03.07.1986..07.03.1986..3rd July 1986..54 army apprentices graduated as tradesmen after completing three years of both military and technical training at the Army Apprentice School, Naas. The school is part of Devoy Military Barracks. The following trades are catered for: Radio Mechanic,Carpenter,Fitter, Electrician and Armourer..The newly graduated tradesmen will complete their basic military training at St Stephen's Barracks ,Kilkenny, for a further eight weeks..Mr John Witherington,Managing Director,Irish Shell, presented the awards...Mr John Witherington,Managing Director,Irish Shell, centre, pictured with Martin Elliott,Best All-round apprentice.His parents Thomas and Bridget Elliott and sister,Carmel look on proudly.
