The first direct flight to Dublin from the USA was operated by TWA (Trans World Airways) with a Boeing 707. Miss T Bergin, Carlow, (Aer Rianta) presented the captain with a crystal vase. Included in the picture is Mr Liam Boyd, Manager in Ireland for TWA.
