It is hoped that the proceeds would go towards the purchase of a laser eye scanner. The Eye and Ear Hospital was established in 1897 and has served not only Dublin but the whole country as well...Picture shows Maureen with members of Dublin Fire Brigade and nurses from the Eye and Ear hospital as they start the collection. The fire tender is parked outside Brown Thomas in Grafton Street,Dublin..
