A youth with his horse and dog Roman, about AD 125 Found at Hadrian's Villa, Tivoli This youth once controlled his spirited horse with a metal bridle attached to the hole in the marble at its muzzle. The relief is a Roman creation, designed to decorate a wall of Hadrian's Villa. It was influenced by Classical Greek models, such as the Parthenon Frieze.
