Eamon de Valera is consoled by the Archbishop of Dublin, Dermot Ryan, after the funeral Mass for his wife, Sinead de Valera, in the Pro-Cathedral. Born in 1878, Sinead Bean de Valera wrote many books for children, in English and in Irish, including books of Irish fairy tales.
