Head from a statue of a king. Thirtieth Dynasty, about 370 BC. This royal head is an example of the very fine quality work produced in late period Egypt, often in a choice of very hard stones. Although there is no inscription on the pieve to identify the king, stylistic comparison suggests the it belongs to the thirtieth Dynasty and probably represents King Nectanebo.
