Funerary relief for butcher, AD125-150. A butcher is at work in his shop; various cuts of meat hang above; his seated wife holds a wax tablet; she goes the shop's accounts. She wears a fashionable hairstyle of the Hadrianic period. The relief was probably set in the facade of a tomb.
