The 'News of the World' Newspaper 10th July 2011. The commemorative final edition of the newspaper carries a re-print of the Issue, marking the capture of the Murderer Dr Herbert Hawley Crippen (1862-1910) and his lover, Ethel le Neve, arrested on the bridge of Atlantic liner 'Montrose'. Ship's master had read newspaper reports of the murder in London and was suspicious of two of his passengers. Radioed Scotland Yard who sent detective by pilot boat to effect arrest. First police use of radiotelegraphy. August, 1910.
