Images at Rose Dugdale Trial..1974..23.05.1974..05.23.1974..23d May 1974..Arrested after the theft of Irl£8 million worth of Old Master paintings from the collection of Sir Alfred Beit at Russborough House ,Wicklow, Bridget 'Rose' Dugdale was sent for trial at the Special Criminal Court in Green Street,Dublin. She was to be tried under Section 30 of The Offences Against the State Act. Miss Dugdale was connected to the Provisional I.R.A. and was implicated in the bombing of an R.U.C. station in Northern Ireland with her partner Eddie Gallagher. Her trial was held under massed security as there were fears of mass protests by IRA and Dugdale supporters...Picture shows the van containing Rose Dugdale,under heavy escort security,arriving at Green Street Court,Dublin.
