Thomas Picton (1758-1815) English soldier. In the Peninsular campaign he commanded the 'Fighting Division' in Spain (1810) and distinguished himself at Busaco, Fuentes de Onoro, Badajoz, and Vittoria. He was seriously wounded at Quatre Bras and died leading his men to charge at Waterloo.
