Dublin Drama Festival production of "Roots" at Damer Theatre for Gael Linn.
"Roots" by Arnold Wesker of London translated into Irish by Padraic Ó Gaora was the first production of a Wesker play in Ireland, produced by Seamus Pair Ceir, with sets by Noel O'Brien. Picture shows Galway born Maire Ní Neill who played the "angry young woman" lead role in the play as her first major role.
