Dublin Drama Festival production of "Roots" at Damer Theatre for Gael Linn.
"Roots" by Arnold Wesker of London translated into Irish by Padraic Ó Gaora was the first production of a Wesker play in Ireland, produced by Seamus Pair Ceir, with sets by Noel O'Brien. Picture shows a scene from the production (l-r): Mairin Duraic (as Pearl Bryant); Mairin Crúc (as Mrs Bryant) and Maire Ní Neill (as Beatie Bryant).
